Are your blends complete and balanced?Updated 2 months ago
“Complete” means that the profile meets the minimum AAFCO requirements for every essential nutrient listed in the AAFCO Nutrient Profile. “Balanced” refers to the ratio or levels of each ingredient compared to others.
Our blends are complete and balanced (with the exception of select specialty diet blends below) and are available in a variety of protein options like fish, turkey, beef, pork, chicken, or lamb, with and without whole grains. Muscle meat is always the #1 ingredient, blended with fresh whole foods that are naturally rich in essential nutrients as well as antioxidants and other substances that will boost your dog’s health and longevity. Every ingredient adds to the nutrient profile, you will never find any fillers or other processed ingredients in any of our blends.
Not all of our speciality diet blends are complete and balanced (listed below) as they are formulated based on vet-recommended requirements for pets with specific health needs. These diets are labeled "for intermittent or supplemental feeding only" unless otherwise advised by your pet's veterinarian.
- Low Fat Cod Blend
- Hepatic Friendly Fish Blend
- Low Phosphorous Lamb and Rice Blend
- Low Phosphorous Pork Grain Free Blend
- Low Phosphorous Chicken Carnivore Grain Free Blend
My Perfect Pet offers additional nutritional analysis for every blend linked as "Nutrition Fact Sheets" on each product page for all the essential nutrients based on a dog's and cat's ability to digest the food to ensure the right amount of nutrients are being absorbed.
